The September issue of Architectural Digest includes a feature called “Shop Like a Designer – Thirteen Designers Reveal Their Top International Sources.”
In the section on esteemed designer, Mica Ertegun of Mac II, she names Center44 among her favorite sources saying, “You never know what you’re going to find.” (Ain’t it the truth!)
She picked a sommerso vase by Flavio Poli from C44’s Story as a special find from her most recent visit. Get more info.

The Statements feature in the September issue of NY Spaces is titled, “Neo-country: The classics get an urban edge.” Among the highlights is this 1980′s white-painted rootwood pedestal table presented at C44 by Darrell Dean.

What’s in a Name?
Sometimes dealers appear at Center44 under assumed names for reasons known only to them. And sometimes circumstances change – and when they do, their true identities, like superheroes, are revealed. Recently we have had two such revelations: Maison M became Jon Howell Antiques and Design, and Agnes Marzonie has just been revealed to be Patrick Bavasi.
Congratulations, gentlemen! |
